About Maineville

The Village of Maineville was incorporated on March 23, 1850 and is a statutory government with a Mayor and six members of Council elected for four year terms. The appointed Fiscal Officer serves as the Clerk-Treasurer.  As of 2010, the population of the Village was 975.

The Village provides police protection and general street maintenance services,  while Hamilton Township provides fire/EMS services. 

The Village is located entirely within the Little Miami Local School District. 

Mail Service is provided by the Maineville (45039), Morrow (45152) and Loveland (45140) Post Offices.

Remember these important security steps

Install solid core doors, heavy duty locks, and window security devices

Lock all doors, windows, and garages at all times

Use four three-inch screws to secure heavy duty lock strike plates in the door frame

Use the door peephole BEFORE opening the door

Use your porch light to help you to see clearly outside

Never rely on a chain-latch as a barrier to partially open the door

Never open the door to strangers or solicitors

Call the police if the stranger acts suspicious

Alert your neighbors to suspicious solicitors

Hold a family meeting to discuss home security plans

Set the home perimeter alarm at night, if you have one

Applications will be accepted from United State citizens who are at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Ohio Operator's License. Applicants must be OPOTA certified at time of hire.

For 10 days Law Enforcement Officers from Warren County had the opportunity to participate in training developed by the Warren County Law Enforcement Combined Training Team.  This years training consisted of several scenrio based, real world situations developed to assist officers in making split second decisions. The Village of Maineville is updating the Village Business Registrations.  If you are a business within the village you will be receiving a registration form by mail. You can mail those forms back with any corrected information or email them to bethmason@mainevilleoh.com.  If you were not contacted please follow the link below to the business registration form. Ohio Prescription Drug Drop Box Program

DRUGS WILL BE TAKEN MONDAY - THURSDAY 8AM-3PM

ALL MEDICATIONS MUST BE EMPTIED INTO ZIP LOCK BAGGIES

>NO INHALERS

Thank you for your attention to this update and supporting the drop box program.

 

The Maineville Police Department was granted a Prescription Drug Box by Attorney General Mike DeWine’s Office. It will be used to dispose of Prescription Medications and over- the- counter medications that are expired or no longer needed.

 

This will provide the residents in the area with a safe manner of disposal of unwanted Medications.  This program keeps medications from being flushed into the water system and prevents them from being stolen if just put in the garbage.

New Zoning Permit applications are now available for download.  If you have any questions relating to a permit application, please call 513.583.9961 Option 4.  Submitted permits must be completed in full at the time of submission or they may be denied or require additional processing time.
